Joan was the lead behaviorist at the Tree House Humane Society for 18 years and trained volunteers to administer reiki to cats at the shelter. She considers her time working at the Tree House clinic to have been extremely important in her development as a shaman and reiki master. She has good reason to believe in miracles after participating in the lifesaving work done by the skilled veterinary doctors, staff and volunteers. She honors the lessons that the many animals and people taught her by providing energetic care and support to our companion animals and others in need.

While we look forward to seeing many animals at our Edgewater location, some pets may prefer to have work done long distance. Let’s discuss your pet’s personality to see if they would like to come in for a session in person or would prefer to stay comfortably at home. Just like us humans, some pets are introverts.
